She was born in Trumann and had lived in Lake City for the past 23 years before moving to Jonesboro five months ago. She was a restaurant manager for Payneway Café for several years, retired from the Singer Company and was a caregiver. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Brookland.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers; one sister and her parents George Washington and Cora Blanche Upton Ford.
She is survived by two daughters, Rachel Wiley of Jonesboro and Linda Goodin Fraley of Friendswood, Tex.; three sons, Donald Goodin of Friendswood, Tex., George Goodin of Harrisburg and Hearlin Goodin of Jonesboro; two sisters, Edna Ford Hauptman of Stikeny, Ill. and Dorothy Ford of Marked Tree; five grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, Aug. 26 at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland with Lance Guest and Victor Eskew officiating. Burial followed at Pine Log Cemetery.
