He had lived most of his life in the Caraway and Jonesboro areas. He was a retired truck driver / mechanic and was of the Pentecostal belief.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher Lloyd and Effie Mae Redd Bogard; his first wife, Silvia Wolff; one daughter, Portia Diane Reed; one son, Kenneth Bogard and one brother, Marvin Holloway.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Bogard of the home; 10 sons, Rev. Larry Eugene Bogard of Bay, Ray Bogard of Trumann, Bobby Bogard of Swifton, Steve Bogard of Dyess and Terry Bogard, Tommie Son, Kenneth Bogard, Larry Wayne Bogard, Quincy Bogard and Mark Rainey all of Jonesboro; three daughters, Janet Hold of Harrison, Mary Sue Buazzard of Paragould and Marilyn Williams of the home; one sister, Juanita Kee of Marked Tree; 34 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 18 at the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Eugene Bogard and Rev. Jim Pagen officiating. Burial was at Bolivar Cemetery and Emerson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
