She was born in Bay Village and had lived in Trumann for the past 35 years, moving here from Illinois. She was a retired cafeteria worker of Cedar Park Elementary and member of the First Assembly of God Church in Trumann.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doss Tatum; one son, Arnold Butler; three brothers and her parents, Tolbert and Metta Fisher Owens.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra Langston of Trumann and Sheila Baker of Jonesboro; one brother, Wayne Owens of Mesa, Az. and six grandchildren, Cindy Manross, Brandon Baker, Bret Baker, Justin Butler, Jordan Butler and Jerika Butler.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 8, 2004 at the First Assembly of God Church in Trumann with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating.
Active pallbearers were Dub Smith, Leroy Conrad, Herb Maxwell, Homer Carder, Bill Williams and Landon Owens. Honorary pallbearers were Delton Hillis and Lloyd Inzer.
