James Russell Conatser

James Russell Conatser, 66, of Trumann passes away on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.

He was born in Lepanto and had lived in Trumann since 1972. He was the former manager of the Trumann Waterworks, former school teacher, member and past president of the Trumann Lions Club, member of the Trumann Masonic Lodge and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Ruben Conatser.

He is survived by his wife, Joe Ann Conatser of the home; three daughters, Cynthia Gail Barber of Louisville, Ky., DeAnna Marie Harrison of England and Jamie Ruth Boyles of Columbia, S.C.; three sons, Brian Keith Conatser or Corvallis, Or. and John Randall Conatser and Steve Allen Conatser both of Trumann; his mother, Dorothy Banks Conatser of Jonesboro; four sisters, Elaine Isbell of Jonesboro, Patsy Bullock, Sharon Vest and Rose Bradley all of Trumann; one brother, Kenneth Conatser of Jonesboro and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Trumann with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. A private burial followed. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Trumann Masonic Lodge, Trumann Waterworks and the Trumann Lions Club.
