Born in Etowah, he lived most of his life in Trumann. He was a retired farmer, Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Melton Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Crain of Trumann; a son, Bryan Tucker of Trumann; six sisters, Edna Goff of Trumann, Emma Jane Smith of Flint, Mich., Martha Sue Norris and Elizabeth Price, both of Harrisburg, Daisy Moore of Duck Hill, Miss., and Mattie Whitright of Stevensville, Mich.; a brother, Eugene Tucker of Artesia, N.M.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.C. "Conrad" and LaDell Cassidy Tucker, three sisters and a brother.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 13, 2004 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with Nolan Glover officiating. Burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery.
Active pallbearers included Arthur Wells, Jerry Lowery, Keith Swink, Paul Bingham, Billy Smith and Danny Smith.
Honorary pallbearer was Doyal Walker.
