A Cherry Valley native, she lived all her life in Northeast Arkansas, residing the past 50 years in the Tulot community near Trumann. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Trumann.
Survivors include six sons, David Renshaw, James Renshaw and Danny Renshaw, all of Trumann, Gene Renshaw of Jonesboro, Eddie Renshaw of Memphis and Joe Renshaw of San Francisco Bay, Calif.; four daughters, Linnie Pipkin and Deborah Hartley, both of Trumann, Betty Williams of Memphis and Dorothy Stonecipher of Houma, La.; three sisters, Mary Jean Ashford and Linda Coin, both of Trumann, and Edith Nunes of Galt, Calif.; 45 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Joe Renshaw; two daughters, Joyce Renshaw and Sue Pinkston; three sons, Lowell Renshaw, Dwight Renshaw and Dean Renshaw; her parents, Ernest and Lona Augusta Long; five brothers and a sister.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 20, 2004 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Gary Barker officiating. Burial followed in Holly Springs Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Chris Hartley, Todd Hartley, Justin Calhoun, Steven Elrod, Anthony Renshaw and Timmy Renshaw.
Honorary pallbearers were Mark Renshaw and Wally Renshaw.
