Kathleen Nichols Patrick

Kathleen Nichols Patrick, 59, of Lake City passed away on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.

She was born in Osceola and had lived in Lake City since, 1965. She was a former employee of the Singer Co., Lincoln Mfg. and Colson Caster Corp. She was a member of the Mt. Olive free Pentecostal Church in Needham.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Earl (Buddy) Nichols in 1976; one son, Norman Earl Nichols, Jr. in 1962; two sisters and her parents, Charlie and Mary Shepard Buie.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Patrick Jr. of the home; one daughter, Diane David of Lake City; one step-daughter, Linda Mae Zipler of Millington, Tenn.; three step-sons, Paul Randall Patrick, Michael W. Patrick and Terry Lee Patrick, all of Millington; three sisters, Mae Riggs of Groveland, Fla., Edna Carr of Orlando, Fla. and Brenda Bowels of Leesburg, Fla.; one brother, Roy Buie of Mascotte, Fla. and two grandchildren, Nick Davis and Charlie Davis, both of Lake City.

Funeral services were Thursday, March 3, 2005 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. David Motes and Bro. Bill Andrews officiating.

Burial followed at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Benny Davis, Bobby Hodge, Mark Doty, Canny Broughton, Michael Moore and Chris Terrell.
