Betty Jean Passmore, 68, of Trumann died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at St. Bernard's Medical Center of Jonesboro.

A native and lifetime resident of Trumann, she was retired from the Singer Distribution Center in Trumann and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, James Passmore of the home; a son, Randy Passmore of Trumann; a sister, Patsy Branum of Trumann; a brother, Virgil Hopkins of Trumann; and a grandson, Jace Passmore of Trumann.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Claudia Odell Shoopman Hopkins.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 12, 2005 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with the Revs. Bill Maxwell and Paul Vincent officiating.

Burial followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
