Flossie Mae Gibson

Flossie Mae Gibson, 91, of Trumann died Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Trumann Health and Rehab Center.

Born at Senath, Mo., she had lived in Trumann since 1975 and was formerly of Michigan. She was a homemaker and retired from United Platers Co. of Detroit. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church at Trumann.

Survivors include a sister, Oma Lee White of Trumann; a brother, Jesse "Short" Blansett of Caraway; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gibson; a stepdaughter, Donna Sue Alexander; her parents, Edward Haws and Cora Hickman Haws Blansett; two sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral services were Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with the Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. Burial followed in Cross Roads Cemetery at Lorado.

Pallbearers were Gary Jeffers, Randy Jeffers, Gary Lippard, Jim Fowler, Larry Parsley and Tim Dunahoo.
