George E. Mullins, 74, of Trumann died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at St. Bernard's Medical Center of Jonesboro.

A native of Bay Village and former Harrisburg resident, he was a retired employee of the Singer Co. and attended Eastside Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Marjorie Geraldine Bell of Harrisburg, Georgia Dianna Newberry of Weiner and Delesa Walker of Trumann; a son, Edward "Sonny" Mullins of Trumann; four brothers, Mart Mullins, Andy Mullins and Jimmy Mullins, all of Hickory Ridge, and Tommy Mullins of Trumann; seven grandchildren, Scott Bell, Christi Fortier, Larry Luna, Eric Mullins, Shawnda Mullins, Tony Newberry and Lauren Walker; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delsie Geraldine Mullins; his parents, Edgar and Mary Butler Mullins; one sister; and four brothers.

Funeral services were Thursday, March 10, 2005 in Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. Burial followed in Nettleton Cemetery at Jonesboro.
