Bobby E. Parrish

Bobby E. Parrish, 63, of Trumann died Monday, April 18, 2005 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.

He was born in the Childress community near Monette and had lived in Trumann for the past 39 years, moving from Monette. He was retired from Trumann Upholstery, a custodian for the Trumann School District and of the Pentecostal belief.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Parrish, of the home; one son, Charles E. Parrish of Trumann; one daughter, Shelly Cooper of Trumann; his parents, Firest and Bertha Parrish of Bay; two brothers, Jerry Parrish of Mountain Home and James "Alvie" Parrish of Bay; two sisters, Brenda Kennedy of Trumann and Marcella Dispard of Bay and six grandchildren, Archie Dale Cooper, Jr., Savannah Nichole Cooper, Devon Parrish, Blaike Jones, Blaire Jones and Koltain Jones.

Funeral services were Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Stahl officiating. Burial followed at Harrisburg Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers were Roy Warden, Junior Jackson, Rick Dillinger, Bubby Robinson, Jimmy Stone and Odel Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Eastres and Will Hall.
