Joann Morgan, 60, of Brookland died, Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Jonesboro Health Care.

She worked for Quality Cabinets and attended Brookland Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Melvina West; a son, Stephen Morgan; a daughter, Tonya Denise Morgan and a sister Peggy Walker.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Morgan, of the home; her step-mother, Ethel Curtis of Monette; one son, Kevin Baxter of Jonesboro; two daughters, Kim Boyd of Trumann and Maricia Morgan of Bono; two step-brothers, Raymond Neal of Jonesboro and Gary Neal of Sikeston, Mo.; three sisters, Geraldine Norris of Jackson, Miss., Brenda Walker of Virginia Beach, Va. and Carolyn Smith of San Diego, Calif.; two step-sisters, Charlene Burgess and Janie Neal, both of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 7 at Pine Log Cemetery with Brad Higgins officiating.

Active pallbearers were Kevin Baxter, Wayne Boyd, Tracey Douglas, Johnny Snyder, Jackie West, Chris Lewis and Raymond Neal.

Honorary pallbearers were Christopher Aden Smith, Angela Snyder, Peter Leo Adams Jr., Ashley Boyd, Nikki Boyd, Rosey Snyder, Tonya Snyer, Joshua Adams and Danielle Boyd.
