Charles B. Hendrix, Jr., 49, of Trumann died Saturday, May 28, 2005, at the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann of natural causes.

He was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of his life in Trumann. He was self-employed and a deacon of the Maple Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Buford Hendrix, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Gregory Hendrix of the home; a son, Jordan Hendrix of Trumann; his mother, Kathryn Hendrix of Jonesboro; two sisters, Kathy Gott of Jonesboro and Susan Thompson of Wynne and one brother, Robert Hendrix of Trumann.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann with Dr. James Shaw and Rev. Shawn Brandon officiating.

Burial followed at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro.

Active pallbearers were Wayne King, II, Wayne King, III, Jimmy Moss, Jeff Whitlatch, Johnny Mae Shelton, Charles Mitchell, Felix Bruner and Ed Rowlett. Honorary pallbearers were Deacons of Maple Grove Baptist Church, Dr. Kemp Childs, Dr. Mark Brown, Dr. Doug Maglothin, John Crocker and Gary Smith.
