She was born in Lepanto and had lived in Trumann since 1960. She was a pharmacist's assistant for Phil's Medical Center Pharmacy in Trumann and was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Greenwood, a son, Gary Dale Nichols, one brother, a great-granddaughter, and her parents, William Timothy and Florence Stewart Rosamond.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Kay Hubbs of Florrissant, Mo.; one son, Ray Nichols of Cooter, Mo.; five sisters, Norma Duvall, of Jacksonville, Verneal Lewis of Memphis, Shirlene McMurray of Sparta, Tenn., Glenda Rutherford of Shreveport, La., and Sandra Dozier Tupelo, Miss.; one brother, Bill Rosamond, of Springdale; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, July 14, 2005 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Gary Barker officiating. The burial was held at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers were Roger Pettis, Billy Greenwood, Patrick Greenwood, Gary Bruner, Wesley Evans, and Daniel Nichols. The honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Nichols, Scott Nichols, Kirk Dunn, Ron Hubbs, Justin Dunn and Vance Null.
