She was born in Mantachie, Miss., was formerly lived at Trumann and had lived at Brookland for the past 17 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God of Trumann.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie W. and Tressie Darenthy Moore.
Survivors include her husband, Sherman Edward Henderson of the home; two daughters, Darenthy Henderson of Jonesboro and Darene Pungercar of Knoxville, Tenn.; one son, Larry E. Henderson of Trumann; four sisters, Charlie Mae Leathers and Verlene Leathers, both of Fulton, Miss., Jessie Fay Stafford of Belden, Miss., and Thelma Jean Nevins of Collierville, Tenn.; five granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, August 1, 2005 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann with the Rev. Kenneth Doke and the Rev. Danny Horton officiating. Burial followed at Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers were Ben Barker, Kenny Horton, Tim Horton, Lloyd Inzer, Carmack Johnson and Bob Kieninger.
Honorary pallbearers will be Delton Hillis, Craig Horton, Don Leathers and Ricky Leathers.
