Berneva Parnell

Berneva "Tiny" Parnell, of Harrisburg died Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born in Bradford. She was a former nurse at Harris Hospital in Newport and retired from Johansen's Shoe Factory in Harrisburg.

She moved to Harrisburg in the 40's and was an active member of the community. She loved quilting, painting, yard sales, dancing, flower gardens, puzzles and board games. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert McDaniel and Ruth Obrien McDaniel; her husband Seth Albert Parnell in 1987; a brother, Lewis McDaniel and two grandchildren, Mark David Futrell and Chad Timothy Futrell.

She is survived by one sister, Berniece Beeson of Harris; one step-sister, Faye Hayworth of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons, Steve Parnell and his wife, Gonda of Harrisburg, Larry Parnell of Trumann and Johnny Parnell and his wife, Jeanette of Harrisburg; three daughters, Judy Cos of Trumann, Nancy Futrell and her husband, Kenny of Vandale and Lisa Lock and her husband, Brian of Trumann; 13 grandchildren, Steven Parnell, Becky Moss, Tanna Bell, Chris Parnell, Denise Weeks, Jenny Dobbins, Terrie Neal, Johnny Parnell, Jr., Jeniffer Parnell Fouch, Clay Cox, Kevin Cox, Vikki FUtrell Johnson and Cassidy Lock; 28 great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, August 5, 2005 at the Weston Funeral Service Chapel in Harrisburg with Mr. Bob Coburn and Rev. Paul Peters officiating.

Interment followed at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg.
