Osby Charles "Charlie" Nance, 88, of Trumann died Sunday, August 14, 2005 at his residence of natural causes.

He was born in Thayer and had lived in Trumann since 1876, formerly of Salinas, Calif. He was a retired carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary H. Nancy in 1995; two brothers, Elmer Cletis Nance and A.L. Nancy; one sister, Maxine Burns, and his parents, William Webster and Annie Myrtle Patnam Nance.

Funerl services are today, Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Frank Bufford officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Roads Cemetery in Lorado.

Pallbearers are Leroy Mabe, Billy Poe, Dennis Wahurst, Bobby COndra, William Poe and Dewayne Horn.
