He was born in West Ridge and had lives most his life in Trumann. He was the longtime custodian of the Trumann Community House, was retired from Speedway Sales, was a former mechanic, member of the Trumann Police Department and employee of the Singer Company. He was a veteran of the United States Army and Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Thelma Rebecca Smith Crowe, two sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Lottie Conyers Crowe of the home; one daughter Renee Blair of Jones; one son, Glen Crowe of Trumann; one brother, Bobby Crowe and four grandchildren, Tara Beth Frazier of Wynne, Whitney Crowe of Trumann, Andrew Blair and Nicole Blair, both of Trumann.
Funeral services were Saturday, August 20, 2005 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating. Burial followed at Marked Tree Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Hershel Wyall, Jerry Brown, Donnie Taylor, Bill Matthews, Junior Partain and Jack Coggins. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Floyd Smith and Judge Henry Wilson.
