Kerry Verlon Cook

Kerry Verlon Cook, 47, of Trumann died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005 at the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis of natural causes.

A lifetime resident of Trumann, he as a truck driver and member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann.

Cook was preceded in death by one sister, Robben Cathleen Cook in 1954.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Lynn Cook of the home; three daughters, Monica Ray of Trumann, Amber Lynn Cook of the home and Jody Paige Cook of the home; his parents, Billy and Betty Cook of Trumann; one sister, Beth Mitchell of Trumann; one brother, Tim V. Cook of Marion; one half sister Marti Terro of Sulphur, La., one half brother Steve Linvell of Sulphur, La. And two granddaughters, Hannah and Brianna Ray.

Funeral services were Sunday, Aug., 29, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Trumann with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. Burial followed at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg.

Active pallbearers were Dale Tabor, Gussie Aston, Ernie Smith, Jimmy Banks, J.R. McDaniel, Jordan Heavener, Harley Timbs and Dustin Cook. Honorary pallbearers were Rick Baine and Shannon Herring.
