Jimmy Buffington, 44, of Trumann died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005 in Jonesboro.

Born in Newport, he enjoyed cooking, sports, music and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Eugene Buffington and one sister, Angela Parnell.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Marrs Buffington; his mother, Dorothy Spray Parnell; two sons, Aaron Buffington and Shawn Marrs of Trumann; two daughters, Sherry Marrs and Tabitha Marrs, both of Trumann; one brother, Bricen Parnell of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Audrey Harrison and April Parnell of Trumann and Debbie Wilson of Harrisburg.

Graveside services were Monday, Aug. 29, 2005 at Willis Cemetery with Bro. Larry Tribble officiating.

Pallbearers were Corey Whitaker, Jerry Allred, Aaron Buffington, Shawn Marrs, Tedd Miller and Joe Miller. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Clem and Will Watson.
