Born in South Bend, Ind., he was a machine operator for Parker Hannifin in Trumann for the past six years. He was a US Marine Corps. veteran, serving in Vietnam. He loved to hunt and fish. He also liked computers and working on cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Wesley Morton.
He is survived by his wife, Sharlan Kay Morton of the home; his mother, Dorothy Morton of Harrisburg; four sisters, Linda Sue Pemberton of Atlanta, Ga., Mary Janis Lenhardt of Youngstown, Ohio, Brenda Larson of Neosha, Mo. and Barbara Pemberton of Harrisburg; one brother, Ronald Morton of Atlanta, Ga.; four sons, Donald R. Mibb and William M. Mibb, both of Harrisburg, Dennis G. Mibb of Virginia and Richard D. Mibb of Southbend, Ind. and four grandchildren, Curtis A. Mibb, Erica N. Mibb, Blake R. Mibb and Alyssa Kay Mibb.
