Winfred A. White, 67, of Bay died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born in Benton and was a carpenter and a mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Norene White and two brothers, Jimmy White and Leon White.

He is survived by one son, Chance A. White of Sherwood; one daughter, Victoria Paulson of Warrenton, Va.; three sisters, Patsy Jenkins of Malvern, Alta Leigh Spann and Helen Wattf, both of Benton; two brothers, Johnny White of Alabama and Howard White of Sardis and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2005 with Robbie McMasters officiating.
