Mary Frances Broadaway, 56, of Mena, formerly of Jonesboro, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005 at Spark's Hospital in Fort Smith.

Born in Trumann she had lived in Mena for the past seven months and formerly lived in Jonesboro for 42 years. She was a former certified nurse's aid at the Area Agency on Aging and was a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her mothers, Mrs. Freddie Mae Broadaway of Mena; one sister, Shirley Jo Liles of Mena; one brother-in-law, Dr. Wally Liles of Mena; two nieces, Kerri Moehlenpah and husband, Sam, of San Diego, Calif. And Ashlea Ison and husband, John, of North Little Rock; two nephews, Wally Liles, III and wife, Sarah of Marion and Kenneth Alan Liles of Fayetteville; one great-niece, Joshlyn Kate Moehlenpah of San Diego, Calif.; one uncle, W.A. Echols and wife, Nettie of Lunsford and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Earl Broadaway.

Services were Friday, Sept. 30, 2005 at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Chance, Rev. B.J. Thomas and Rev. Niles White officiating. Burial followed at Nettleton Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Ben Allen, Jason Allen, Bruce Flemon, Scott Flemon, Barry Flemon and Jared Childers. Honorary pallbearers were Wally Liles III, Kenneth Alan Liles, John Ison and Sam Moehlenpah.
