Goodwin was born in Nettleton and was a lifetime member of the Trumann and McCormick area. She was a homemaker of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Lige Barton; her second husband Charles Goodwin; her parents, Tom and Becky Jones Dickens; one daughter, Willie Barton; three sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her four sons: Eligh Barton, of Sterling, Ill., William "Bill" Barton of Greer's Ferry, Alvin Barton of Rock Falls, Ill. and Franklin Barton of West Memphis; one daughter, Janet Roach of Trumann; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 7 at the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Reverend Darrel Miller officiating. Interment was at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Pallbearers were Jerry Barton, Eli Barton, Richard Barton, Johnny Tackett, and Michael Scrape. Honorary pallbearers were Alvin Barton, Eligh Barton, William "Bill" Barton and Franklin Barton.
