He was born in Myette and was a 1951 graduate of Bay High School. He lived in Ponca City, Ok. before moving back to Bay in 1986. He was a computer systems specialist and a truck owner / operator.
He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Bay and was a US Air Force veteran. His hobbies included fishing, wood working and internet research.
He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Allen; one brother, Earl Paul Walker; his father, L.A. Walker and a grandson, Ryan Williamson.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Williamson Walker of the home; his mother, Essie A. Walker of Bay; six sons, Kenneth Lee Walker of Little Rock, Timothy Eugene Walker of Rudy, Brian Williamson of Neodesha, Kan., Jet Williamson of Tonkawa, Ok., Pete Williamson of Perry, Ok. and David Allen of Mounds, Ok.; five daughters, Melissa Sue Walker of Dyer, Melinda Lee Parrish of Keifer, Ok., Mary Jane Dyess of Perry, Ok., Carol Ann Boaz of Mounds, Ok. and Eva Marie Baidwan of Denver, Co.; 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 22 at New Life Baptist Church in Bay with Rev. Mark Rutherford officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
Burial was at the Ponca Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Ok. with Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry, Ok. in charge of arrangements.
