He was born in the Finch community near Paragould and had lived there since 1978 and was formerly of the Goobertown community. He was a retired factory worker for Emerson Electric Company in Paragould and of the Church of Christ faith.
He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Don Andrews; one brother, Dossie Andrews and his parents, Ernest George and Florence Matthews Andrews.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Mae Andrews of the home; four sons, George Thomas Andrews of Vanzant, Mo., Michael Keith Andrews of Heber Springs, Ernest Randel of Brookland and Gary Randel of Jonesboro; four daughters, Patricia Ann Lane of Dixie, Ar., Sue Lammers of Brookland, Darlene Brandon and Terrie Randel, both of Jonesboro; four sisters, Glendene Gramling and Lerlene Stracener, both of Paragould, Dorothy Jackson and Ruth Hooks, both of Paragould; one brother, Jay Andrews of Paragould; 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005 at Old Bethel Cemetery in Paragould with Leonard Hensel officiating.
