Dorothy Evelyn Gregson

Funeral services for Dorothy Evelyn Gregson, 85, of Trumann died Saturday, Oct. 29 at Plantation Homes in Trumann.

Born in Paragould, she lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a retired counselor and school teacher for the Trumann and Bay school. She was a member of the Century Arts and Civic Club; order of the Eastern Star, Phi Delta Kappa and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann.

Survivors include two son, John Ed Gregson of Wynne and F. J. "Pete" Gregson Jr. of Jonesboro; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Gregson in 1998 and her parents, Ed and Eva Dyer Arbaugh.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 31, 2005 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. Burial followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were Nate Magre, Matthew King, John E. Gregson, Mike Dungan, Gerald Cunningham and Jim Wallace.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Trumann.
