Pauline Sloan died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2005, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 87. She was born in Brookland on Saturday, Dec. 1, 1917, the daughter of the late Kye and Dovey Mae Waldo Morrison and was a lifetime resident of Trumann.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dick Sloan, two sisters, six brothers and her parents.

Survivors included three daughters, Betty Kraus of St. Louis, Mo., Bonnie Smith of Springfield, Mo., and Linda Sprung of Maplewood, Mo.; and two sons, David Sloan of Trumann and Tommy Joe Sloan of Jonesboro.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral in Trumann, with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating.

A private burial followed at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro.
