Anna Mae Russell

Mrs. Russell died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at Trumann Health and Rehab Center in Trumann at the age of 100.

Anna Mae Russell was born March 7, 1905 the daughter of the late Edd and Allie Ethel Cartt Richardson. She was born in Kentucky and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Jenkins in 1973; her second husband, Edgar Joseph "Ed" Russell in 1989; three sisters, six brothers and her parents.

Survivors include a sister, Lucille Ragsdale of Trumann and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 22 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with Rev. Tommy Jordan and Rev. Dub Holt officiating. Burial followed in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Pallbearers were Fred Russell, Wayne Russell, Michael Spray, Michael Wilmoth, Charlie Hillis and James Holmes.
