Ellis Goff died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 75.

Ellis Goff was born in Trumann on Thursday, March 27, 1930, the son of the late Thomas and Nelie Nichols Goff. He was a lifetime resident of Truman and a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers and his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Goff of the home; a daughter, Lavinda Corbin of Redondo Beach, Calif., a granddaughter, Mikala Corbin of Redondo Beach, Calif., two brothers, Jim D. Goff and Joseph Goff both of Harrisburg and a sister, Elsie McDaniel of East Peoria, Ill.

Graveside services were today, Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006 at the Marked Tree Cemetery with Joe Mitchel officiating. Burial was under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.
