Mrs. Waller was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a retired factory and café worker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Waller was preceded in death by her husband, William Monroe "Bill" Waller; one son, Bobby Lee Purcell; one daughter, Nancy Louise Purcell Thompson; two sisters and was the daughter of the late Rufus and Sylvia Howard Cooper.
Survivors include two sisters, Wanda Lee Warden of Tunica, Miss., and Cliffia Rutherford of Bay; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service were Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner, with Rev. Leon Minick officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
