Mrs. Hazel Lorene Hardin, 86, of Trumann died Sunday Jan. 22, 2006 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Covington, Tenn. she had lived in Trumann for the past 50 years and was formerly of Tennessee. She was a retired employee of the Singer Company and a member of the First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Willford "Tennessee" Hardin; four sisters; one brother and her parents, William Sanford and Lucinda Elizabeth Mashburn Mix.

Survivors include two daughters, Janie Hayes of Trumann and Judy Epps of Jonesboro; two sisters, Beatrice Short and Inez Hardin both of Covington, Tenn.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial services was this morning, Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006 at the First Christian Church in Trumann with Rev. Leonard Harp and Chad Epps officiating.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Sanders McKee, Bobby Bennett, Joe Epps and Ronnie Harrison.
