Carrie Bell Taylor

Carrie Bell Freeman Taylor, 104, of Trumann died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006 at the Trumann Health and Rehab. She was born in Nelsonville and had lived in the Poughkeepsie area before moving to Trumann 40 years ago.

Taylor was a housewife, former Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Lillie Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Jefferson Taylor; one son, Roland G. "R.G." Taylor; eight brothers and sisters and was the daughter of the late Greenberry and Loucreshia Jane Werner Freeman.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Brenda Gallaway of Little Rock and Carolyn Banks of Trumann; two grandsons, Ronald Taylor and Paul Taylor both of Trumann; nine great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren and three great-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service were Monday, Feb. 13, 2006 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Jim Frazier officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Active Pallbearers were John Avery, Jimmy Banks, Chatley Banks, Bernard Boyd, Dennie Boyd and Bill King. Honorary pallbearers were Timmy King, Wesley King and Chris Stevenson.
