James Dewayne Blain, 46, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born in South Haven, Mich., and had lived most of his lifetime in Michigan before moving to Jonesboro two and a half months ago. He was a security officer, veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include his mother, Jean Hamilton Blain of Harrisburg and his father, Leroy A. Blain of Sand Lake, Mich.; a sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Benjamin Lookingbill of Holland, Mich.; sister, Jody Stoner of Newaygo, Mich. and his brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Sheryl Blain of Harrisburg, Ark.

Graveside services were Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006 at the Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg with Robert McDoniel officiating. Burial was under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
