Mamie Lydia Callison

Mamie Lydia Callison, 89, of Qulin, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Callison was born in Corinth, Miss., and had lived in Missouri since 1979. Formerly of Trumann, she was a homemaker and member of the Broseley First Baptist Church in Broseley, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Alonzo Callison; two sons; five brothers and was the daughter of the late William Odie and Seney Elizabeth Cain Prichard.

She is survived by a step-daughter, Martha Cottner of St. Charles, MO.; two sisters, Wilta Pennington of St. Louis, Mo.; and Edith Allen of Trumann and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 10, 2006 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Capps officiating. Burial followed in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Pallbearers were Jerry Coleman, Joey Coleman, Mike Carapella, Noah Pennington, Joshua Pennington and Roger Boling.
