Mary Lou Smith Carroll, 62, of Trumann died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006 at Trumann. She was born June 18, 1943, the daughter of Archie and Ollie Smith.

She was a homemaker. Carroll enjoyed gardening, decorating her home, reading her recipe books, cooking, shopping, birds, long walks and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Virgil Wayne Smith.

Carroll is survived by her husband Roy Henry Carroll; one son, Chipper Carroll and wife Renee of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter, Sherry J. Carroll of Penfield, New York; four sisters; Ruth Watson of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Bonnie Smith of West Memphis, Arkansas, JoAnn Harris of West Memphis, Arkansas and Barbara Brazile of Trumann, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Paige Carroll

Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 17, 2006 at Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steven Mabry officiating. Interment was at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jimbo Harris, Rickey Harris, Bryce Mabry and Jody Sutton.

Arrangements were made by Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.
