Mrs. Evelyn Pauline Hawkins, 90, of Trumann died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born in and a lifetime resident of Trumann. Hawkins was a housewife and a member of Temple Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Devoe Hawkins Sr.; three sons, T.J. Hawkins, Leland Hawkins and Dennis Hawkins Jr.; a sister Aline Coker and was the daughter of the late Ed and Rosa Bean Elliott.

Survivors include three daughters, Imogene James, Earline Coin and Deb Barker all of Trumann; 15 grandchildren 25 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, April 4 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Jerry Jolly officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
