Mary Louise Vickers

Mary Louise Vickers, 60, of Jonesboro died Thursday May 25, 2006 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born in Jonesboro and had lived there for the past eight years. Formerly of Texarkana and the Trumann area, she was a housewife and member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Ann Rodgers, and one brother, Bobby

Williams, and was the daughter of the late Jessie Franklin and Bessie Irene

Pierce Williams.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rev. Gerald Vickers of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Edward Hackleman of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Samantha Vickers of Walnut Ridge; one sister, Patsy Vickers of Trumann, one brother, James Williams of Trumann and three grandchildren, Ben Vickers, Holly Hackleman and Caleb Hackleman.

Funeral service will be Sunday, May 28 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Orville Tribble, Rev. J.E. Elliot and Rev. Robert F. Davis Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were Ben Vickers, Ben Hackleman, Joe Hackleman, Frank Winkles, Jerry Vinson and James Boyd.
