Jerry Don Wilson, 64, of Trumann died Friday at the family residence in Trumann.

Born in Weona, he had lived in Trumann for four years and was formerly of Leachville. Wilson was a retired truck driver, a Vietnam Veteran and a member of Providence Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Rosa Wilson, and two sisters, Lurlene Mize and Georgia York.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Wilson of the home; one son, Jeff Wilson of Manila; one daughter, Kimberly Wilson of Bay; three brothers, Carlos Frye of Greers Ferry, Elbert Wilson of Naylor, Mo. and Edward Wilson of Ocean Springs, Miss.; one sister, Bonnie Kinney of Bellevue, Mich; and six grandchildren, Joshua Wilson, Holly Wilson, Tiffany Bowen, Taylor Wilson, Jessica Wilson, and Cody Wilson.

Funeral services were Monday in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. Burial followed in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg.
