Lorena I. Farnum

Mrs. Lorena I. Farnum of Trumann died Sunday, July 9 at the family residence at the age of 101. Mrs. Farnum was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., and had lived in Trumann since 1960 and was formerly of Santa Maria, Calif. She was a housewife and a member of the Eastern Star, Trumann Lions Club and First United Methodist Church in Trumann.

Mrs. Farnum was preceded in death by her husband, George Albert Farnum who died in 1989; two sisters; one brother and was the daughter of the late John E. and Kate Love Cypert Wilson.

She is survived by one son, W. R. Burke of San Antonio, Tex.; five grandchildren, Babs K. Burke, Julie A. Burke, Robert G. Burke, Mary Jane Burke and Melanie Loperano; two great-grandchildren, Cirara C. Loperano and Riley C. Loperano.

Funeral services were Friday July 14 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Burial followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bill Cook, Al Lindsey, David Loperano and Frank Ray.
