Carolyn M. Walden, 63, of Trumann, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006 at the St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Formerly of Indiana, she was born May 25, 1943 in Michigan City, Ind. to E.G. Collins and Maggie Bailey Collins. She was a homemaker and member of the Christian Worship Center in Trumann. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She married Houston Walden on Sept. 27, 1968, and they were about to celebrate 38 years together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E.G. and Maggie Collins; two daughters, Tracey Jeanes and Theresa Walden; one brother, Gene Russell and two sisters, Sharon Green and June Brown.

She is survived by her husband, Houston Walden of the home; two daughters, Jenny Glowacki of Trumann and Elizabeth Barber of Michigan City, Ind. and two grandchildren, Michael Glowacki of Trumann and Jordan Carter of Michigan City, Ins.

Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 2 at the Weston Funeral Service Chapel in Harrisburg.
