Junior Floyd of Trumann died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006 at his home at the age of 49. He was born Feb. 17, 1957, in Carson Lake to Oliver Junior Floyd, Sr. and Leodia Williams Floyd.

He was a farmer and worked for Larry Henderson Farms. He loved yard work, tinkering with engines and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lori Kieffer Floyd of the one; one son, Jonathan Floyd of Trumann; two daughters, April Floyd of Trumann and Lashelle Upton of Texas; three sisters, Barbara Harvell of Sweet Water, Ala., Shirley Kain and Shelby Collins, both of Trumann and one grandchild.

Graveside Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 11 at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Weston Funeral Service of Harrisburg.

Pallbearers were Brent Henderson, Larry Henderson, Shannon Smith, Tony Plunkett, Clay McClung and John Avery.
