Mr. Roy Van Arms, 91 of Trumann, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 at Trumann Health and Rehabilitation. Mr. Arms was born in Cord and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was retired from the Consumer Gas Service and member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Arms; one son Edward Arms; five brothers and his parents, Ed and Dora Harrelson Arms.

He is survived by a daughter, Shelia Buchanan of Collierville, Tenn.; one brother, Troy Arms of Washington State; one granddaughter, Brooke Arms of Trumann and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside service were Sunday, Sept. 17 at Potters Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. Burial was under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
