She was born in the Prairie Creek, Ark., and had lived in Lake City for the past eight years and was formerly of Trumann. She was a homemaker and member of the Alsup Pentocostal Church near Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Jones; one son, Vernon Jones; two daughters, Velta Toddy and Loucretia Fowler; one grandson, Larry Jones; one great-great-grandson, Jarrod McClung and her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Timms of Lake City; a son, Everett Jones of Trumann; ten grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 21. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Boyd Hosman and Bro. Rick Toddy officiating.
Graveside services were Friday, Sept. 22 in the Graves Cemetery in Delaware, Ark., with Thompson Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were grandchildren and honorary pallbearers were great-grandchildren.
