Mary Louise Franks, 79, of Trumann formerly of Tyronza died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Trumann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Edward Franks, Sr.

She is survived by one son, Vernon "Bud" Franks of Tyronza; two daughters, Jimmie Lou McCullar of Olive Branch, Miss., Norma Jean Baney of Harrisburg; one brother, Dewey Bonee of Portageville, Mo.; special friend of 28 years, L.D. Browder of Trumann; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Mote, Jr. officiating and burial followed in Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza.
