Billy Jack Taber, Sr.

Billy Jack Taber, Sr., 54, of Flippin died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. He was born March 27, 1952 at Bay. He was the son of Howard Taber and the late Wanda Williams Taber. He worked for Cessna Manufacturing Company before moving to Flippin, He was an US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Fike Taker of Flippin; his father, Howard Taber of Flippin; one son, Billy Jack Taber, Jr. of Hutchinson, Kansas; one daughter, Belitha Ann Weve of Montana; one step-son, Steven Warren of Mountain Home; one step daughter, Stephanie Cox of Gassville; four brothers, Marty Taber of Flippin, Jackie Taber of Hutchinson, Michael Taber of Trumann and Lonnie Taber of Longview; four sisters, Linda Brooks of Rivervale, Kecha Lambert of Flippin, Pauline Woodard of Trumann and Juanita Wilkerson of Alma, Colo. and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a stepson, David Weis.

Funeral Services were Oct. 6 at the Burns Funeral Home in Yellville with Bro. James Cox officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery in Flippin.

Pallbearers were Tony Reed, Marty Taber, Jackie Taber, Michael Taber, Lonnie Tabeer and Billy Jack Taber, Jr.
