Helen Irene Kemper

Mrs. Helen Irene Kemper was born on Saturday, March 21, 1931, the daughter of the late Marion A. and Birdie Mae Hughes Gann. Mrs. Kemper died Monday, Oct. 9, 2006 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 75. She was born in Ravenden Springs and had lived for the past 50 years in Trumann. She was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Kemper was preceded in death by her husband, William J. "Bill" Kemper, two brothers and her parents.

Survivors include three daughters, Carole Patton of Morrison, Ill., Vickie Benton of Trumann and Sandi Harper of Hoxie; four sons, Rick Kemper of Roseville, Ohio, Keith Kemper of Paragould, Ray Kemper of Jonesboro and Scott Kemper of Hardy; one sister, Marian Whitt of Harrisburg and a brother, Russell Gann of Pacific, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 13 at the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann, with Rev. Rick Forbis officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were William Patton, Derek Kemper, Josh Kemper, Revis Kemper, Kyle Benton, Zac Kemper and Cody Harper.
