Claudine Odom

Mrs. Claudine Odom, 82, of Bay died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006 at her daughter's home in Jonesboro. She was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of her lifetime in the Bay and Trumann area. Mrs. Odom was a homemaker of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Moody of Trumann, Debbie Snyder of Jonesboro, Pat Gibson and Betty Barnes both of West Memphis; three sons, Charles Odom of Bay, James Odom of Trumann, and Donnie Odom of Proctor; two sisters, Vera Corley of Dade City, Fl., and Freda Duncan of Plant City, Fl.; 27 Grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Odom was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Odom, two daughters, Ruth Dunning and Deloris DuVall, two sons, Wayne Odom and Timmy Odom, 6 grandchildren, six sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Odom was the daughter of the late Owen and Lizzie Semour Shockley

Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. George Ezell officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg.

Pallbearers will be Jerry W. Dunning, Don DuVall, Chris Rusher, Charles Ashley, Jr., Carl Barnes, and Brett Dunning.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry D. Dunning, Adam Elrod, Wayne Jarman, and Robert Smith.
