Wilma LaDell Upton of Trumann died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006 at her daughter's residence in Harrisburg, at the age of 76.

She was born in Lake City, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Lillian Blunt Seay. She lived most of her lifetime in Trumann where she was a housewife and a member of the Christine Worship Center in Trumann.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Upton; one grandson, Stevie Cleary; one brother, Ralph Seay and her parents.

She is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Whitlock of Harrisburg, Marie Hill of Trumann, Patricia Cleary of Milan, Tenn., and Bonnie Brown of Ravenden; three sons, Eddie Upton and Jimmy Upton both of Trumann and Bobby Upton of Springfield, Mo., one step-daughter, Lavern Woodruff of Trumann; two step-sons, David Upton and William Upton both of Jonesboro; three sisters, Pauline Seay and Kathleen Seay both of Lake City and Ethel Snider of Trumann; one brother, Jim Seay of Trumann; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Saturday, Nov. 25 at the Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland with Rev. Tommy Jordan officiating. Burial was under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
