Born in Pontotoc, Miss., on Friday, Aug. 21, 1914, she was the daughter of the late L.A. and Ludie McMurray Mathews. She had lived in Trumann from 1938 to 1956 and was formerly of Louisiana and New Mexico. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
Dudley was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd H. Weems Sr., and her second husband, Oren Rush Dudley; one sister, Robbie Weems; one brother, Dexter Mathews and her parents.
Survivors include a son, Floyd Homer Weems Jr., of Trumann; a brother, Neal Matthews of West Fork; three sisters, Wilma Dean Pope of Gulfport, Miss., Lonnie Armstrong of Lake City, and Beth Martin of Pearl River, La.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 2. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. Burial followed in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Little Rock.
